Microcorps
The Acroyear
The Acroyear were once
a race of spacefaring wanderers.
These peaceful humanoids eventually came to an ancient world called
Spartak.
Though barren and foreboding Spartak could still support life,
so the Acroyear
settled there. Life on Spartak was harsh, however, and adapting
to their new home
forced the Acroyear to become a callous and prideful warrior race.
During the legendary
war against the demonic Karza, Spartak was destroyed.
The Acroyear returned to their nomadic ways, but cosmic storms
shattered their fleet
and flung the survivors far and wide. Some of these noble warriors
were rescued by the
micro-humans of Homeworld, but many more -- those unlucky souls
whose escape capsules
were hurled through the Spacewall -- fell to Earth. The pollution
in Earth's environment
reacted with these Acroyears' physiology, with catastrophic results.
The Acroyear who fell
to Earth underwent a hideous transformation.
Their bodies were fused with the battle armor they wore, creating
techno-organic
monstrosities whose souls were just as corrupted as their bodies.
These evil,
hate-filled Acroyear are obsessed with death and destruction.
Only the Microcorps
can possibly save Earth from... death by Acroyear!
ACROYEAR CLANS:
Acroyear culture and
government is based upon clans.
The corrupted Acroyear of Earth, regressive creatures that they
are,
have balkanized and segregated themselves along clan lines.
Even though President Xenon ostensibly commands all Acroyear,
each "Acrocorps" has its own leader and agendas.
